Its not too thick as the sweater can easily be worn with a jacket or coat without being too bulky or hot. It's perfect for those crisp fall days as it will keep you warm even without a jacket. And the fit is exactly as the images suggest. It's an athletic/slim fit sweater that looks great with either dress pants or with a nice pair of jeans. I ordered it in black and red.
